Director of Customer Marketing
 
The Director of Customer Marketing is responsible for developing and managing scalable marketing strategies that drive Black Duck product adoption, retention, and expansion within customers.  In this role, you will develop and execute a strategy to engage our customers, communicate effectively and with impact to help them stay informed, and nurture customers along the lifecycle to become advocates.

We are looking for a high energy, results-oriented marketing leader who can work with the sales, customer success and marketing organizations. The successful candidate will be an effective communicator who understands the customer lifecycle, can create social and community engagement and will be a quick study in conveying Black Duck’s value to the various segments of our customer audiences. 

Responsibilities:
 
·         Develop and execute a strategy to help drive adoption of Black Duck products within existing customers
·         Create interest in additional products and services among our installed base that results in qualified upsell opportunities
·         Create nurture communications for customer segments
·         Coordinate with the the demand generation and product marketing teams in the execution of integrated customer campaigns
·         Increase customer engagement within social channels
·         Manage and grow engagement in our advocate marketing program
·         Drive customer references and creation of customer proof
·         Develop executive-level customer engagement programs
·         Be an active protector of customer data; working with Marketing and Sales Operations on processes that ensure we maintain clean data to enable targeted customer programs
·         Team effectively with customer-facing leaders to develop programs aligned with the needs of the business
·         Become proficient in Black Duck product knowledge, uses cases and best practices
·         Measure program results and impact, monitor and communicate key metrics

Skills And Requirements

·         10+ years B2B marketing experience
·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills
·         Experience interacting with expert presenters with confidence and presence 
·         Strong aptitude for data and segmentation approaches
·         Ability to quickly understand and articulate Black Duck’s capabilities, value proposition, and key messages
·         Strong cross-functional and team collaboration skills
·         Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously
·         Self-motivated, highly driven
·         Bachelor’s Degree required
