Human Resources Coordinator
 
Black Duck is a rapidly growing Software Company that promotes a cultivating work environment of collaboration, creativity, and fun! This newly developed position is an exciting opportunity to join and support our dedicated Human Resource (HR) and Recruiting Team. The HR Coordinator will assist with recruiting and other HR related projects, under the direction of the VP of Human Resources. You will interact with corporate recruiters, hiring managers, internal employees, candidates, new hires, and other staff members to assist with their HR/Recruiting needs.
 
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
 
Human Resources
  • Provide support in day to day administration of new hire and termination paperwork, benefits, reporting, filing, interview scheduling, internal events, facility related activities, and other HR projects as needed
  • Assist with coordinating corporate events and meetings
  • Updating internal HR and Payroll (ADP) databases
  • Cover front desk and assist in company culture initiatives (set up and close down events)
  • Communicate effectively with personnel at all levels, internally and externally
 
Recruiting
  • Schedule candidates phone and in-person interviews
  • Maintain candidates in Applicant Tracking System – Applicant Stack
  • Conduct reference calls for candidates being considered for hire
  • Assist with job postings to Black Duck’s Career Page, University Job Boards, and External Sites
  • Support the hiring of new employees by processing recruitment paperwork before and after the positions are filled
 
Requirements:
  • BS or BA degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field
  • 1-2 years of HR or general office experience preferred
  • Customer service oriented with the ability to multi-task and meet various deadlines
  • Strong working knowledge with Microsoft Office – Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work within a past paced environment
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and a positive, “can-do” attitude
  • Proven ability to work with confidential and sensitive information
